About Gregory Temnov

I started taking pictures about six years ago, - it was when I moved from Russia to the Western Europe. Working as a researcher in mathematics, I used every opportunity to travel and the elegant city life of modern Europe fascinated me, motivating to take my camera with me practically each time I left home. Since I started, my interests in photography seemed to focus more and more on city life, cityscapes and landscapes, with a particular tendency to depict emotional interaction between people and everything that surrounds us. I always admired the classical work of the main historical figures in street photography, such as Robert Doisneau, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Helen Levitt.
